The Only Oblong

While on our recent trip to Illinois, we went to the Antique Tractor Festival, complete with tractor pull contest (my first), in Oblong, IL. Yes, Oblong, Illinois, is the only Oblong. The playground at the county fairgrounds actually had 2 old-style merry-go-rounds. Those things still go really fast!

We did have a great time!!! I, too, loved the push merry-go-rounds. It was fun pushing the kids on them (even though Reid skinned his knee a little when he was getting off too soon). The swings were a bigger hit with Ava, though. Brought back lots of memories of my kids and even my childhood. Glad you had a good time too.
