She said “ball.”  Once.  Hasn’t done it again, but she said it.  Plain as day.  “Ball.”  She was signing it at the same time.

I contribute it to an entire 2 weeks spent on The Letter B and the “buh” sound at school.  The Rise School of Austin.  It’s been fabulous.

Admittedly, I was a little nervous about it.  Was it the right place for Reid?  Would Ava really get the extra attention she needed?  It’s exceeding my expectations and I’m thrilled they’re there.

So while they’re at school, I’m back to work.  At Meals on Wheels and More.  After one week, I realize I missed working more than I thought I did.  I enjoy being back; I enjoy being “adult-ish,” I enjoy promoting the agency so that they might help more people.

Amazingly, the transition has gone very smoothly.

Unfortunately, it’s still dark out at 6:00am.
